Empires of Arcadia is the next-generation sequel (or prequel, if you'd like) to Legend of Arcadia. It is being developed by the same person who made the first two games (Legend of Arcadia and HeroRPG). It is a web-based RPG written in PHP and Javascript.

Empires of Arcadia (EoA for short) utilizes the newest web technologies to bring you a unique, easy-learning game that is both more fun and more efficient than previous games or other games of its kind. EoA was created from the ground up using concepts from both of HeroRPG Games' previous games to produce our greatest masterpiece yet.

HeroRPG Games is a non-legal entity representing the developers of its games (to date, Legend of Arcadia, HeroRPG, and Empires of Arcadia). HeroRPG Games has formerly been known as Radiant Games, LLC.

Unfortunately, for the time-being, EoA is in its testing phase. This means that registration is invite-only, as we are only seeking highly-motivated and creative individuals to help test our game. It is important that everyone who takes part in the test has something to "bring to the table" as far as making a quality game is concerned. We are aiming for a late 2010 or early 2011 release. The game will undergo 4 additional testing periods between now and then, the final two of which will be "open beta" tests. During these tests everyone is eligible to register and play.

EoA and LoA share a lot of concepts. The two games are very similar, with EoA being a more polished and up-to-date version of LoA. Story-wise, Empires is a prequel to Legend of Arcadia.

While HeroRPG is a HeroRPG Games product, Empires of Arcadia is in no way related to it.

This is a web-based RPG composed entirely of text and images. There is no client to download; there is a whole other market for games like that.

Any copyright infringement or other alleged theft of intellectual property is entirely unintentional. Rest assured that every resource EoA makes use of is either freeware, public-domain, or open-source. Any similarities to existing games is entirely unintentional.
